Meet Dr. Hardy
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Hardy is the outgoing middle daughter of her two loving parents, Drs. James and Felecia Hardy. She grew up in Raleigh, NC with her two sisters and grandmother, who played an intricate part of shaping who she is today. With the continued support of her family, Dr. Hardy began her higher education career at Hampton University in Hampton, VA where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Upon graduation she attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. After dental school, Dr. Hardy practiced in Charlotte, NC where she served children for 1 year. It was in this year that she discovered her love for treating children and was inspired to further her training in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. During her 2-year specialty training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Dr. Hardy was appointed Chief Resident by her attendings and received the award for Outstanding Leadership in Dental Outreach for her additional work in the Bronx, NY community. Having a hunger for lifelong learning and a desire to serve her patients at a higher level of expertise Dr. Hardy furthered her knowledge by completing her Board Certification to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. The highest honor of certification in her field.
Her passion to continue to serve children in underserved communities nationally is reflective in her mission trips to other countries such as Haiti and Guatemala where she treated children in rural areas that had limited access to oral health care. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Hardy’s personal mission is to care for each of her patient’s unique needs while inspiring them to have fun and enjoy their oral health care. Encouraging children and youth to not only value their oral health but fearlessly pursue their dreams is something Dr. Hardy hopes is the lasting impression she has on all her patients.
